Neuropsychological Evaluations

For students in grades one to graduate school. I love to do these evaluations and consider myself to be an excellent diagnostician. To this end, I collaborate with other professionals, such as physicians, psychiatrists, speech language pathologists, and occupational therapists. Collaboration / Advocacy

I was trained in traditional special education as well as Response To Intervention and offer a friendly, collaborative approach to school teams and outside professionals, while remaining a strong advocate for my patients. 

Individual Therapy

For children, adolescents, and young adults. I use a combination of cognitive behavior therapy (as traditionally defined, by Drs. Aaron Beck and Albert Ellis) and social skills training as defined by Michelle Garcia Winner.

Family Therapy and Parenting Training

I am also a trained structural family therapist. I help family members to strengthen communication skills and develop healthier interactions.

For your convenience, Dr. Toby's practice works with a billing service who will call your insurance company to check your benefits and coverage prior to the evaluation. However, you are responsible for confirming your benefits with your insurance company, and for payment of any non-covered benefits.
